Andross

Project information

This is a project I made back in my introductory computer science course, in Fall 2020. In that class, we used a Python graphics package called Zelle Graphics, and as part of learning how to use it, the task was to make a simple face with the following components: eyes, a nose, and a mouth. I took the idea and ran with it. As soon as I got the assignment, this character, Andross, originally from the SNES game Star Fox, came to my mind. I was used to seeing him while playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii, where he shows up as an Assist Trophy, so I thought it would be cool to recreate him in Zelle Graphics.

This is the final result, and one I am definitely pleased with visually. In terms of the code, I guess my inexperience from back in 2020 shows (for example, there is a lot of repetition in there), so I would definitely do it differently now, but I still quite like my Andross.
